Hey folks!In trying to upload artwork more regularly to the Gallery here on dA, I present you with yet more warm-ups that I've done during the past weeks.
More specifically, images related to one of my favorite sci-fi universes: Frank Herbert's Dune. It's been a while since I'd visited Arrakis, but the news about Denis Villeneuve's upcoming film adaptation and its casting choices have me quite hopeful that we might finally see a version of this tale done justice in the big screen.
Meanwhile, we can enjoy illustrations
And these in particular were directly inspired by the works of the amazing John Schoenherr whom, according to Herbert, had captured the world of Dune perfectly. This is my take on the messiah himself, Paul Muad'dib and his wife Chani of the Fremen.As usual, I hope you enjoy and thank you for your constant support and encouragement!

I love it! I am trying so hard not to get too excited about Villeneuve's upcoming adaptation but at the same time every single thing I hear about it gets me hyped.

Man I wish Spice was real, would love to expand my mind and extend my life with it. I was going to say fold spacetime also but I know better, don't want to end up like a Guild Navigator O_O.

I love Jodorowsky's Dune! As a follower of the man's work since I was a teenager, it was awesome to learn that much of his development for the failed film did make it into another amazing saga that inspired me greatly: the Metabarons!

Ah yes, The Metabarons is quite an epic graphic novel. Though I must say my fav by Jodorowsky is The White Llama, an amazing adventure in Tibet, Highly recommend.
