I'm told Mikey is a bit of a badass. He has a wonkey jaw and white eye from when he was hit by a car and he's still going strong! His portrait was commissioned by my client as a leaving present for their colleague (Mikey's human). Aint he gorgeous?Created using pastels and white charcoal on pastel paper, a4.

What a beautiful kitty!! And your portrait is so lovely - I love the effect of the pastels (and I'm terrible with them myself). His fur looks like I could just reach out and pet it.

The effect is just gorgeous. I've a local friend who does equine portraits in pastels and they look like paintings by the old masters.
