Ah, you you're the one! So glad you seem to like them so much, as will be templar the publishers. Douglas Carrell and the gang are great aren't they? I was lucky enough to get in on the fringes later on.
Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks Cynder.
Drawing all the dragons? Not at all. I'm just the third string sub they called off the bench to support Douglas Carrel (the master) and Tomislav Tomic (the amazing). These were for the 'Compendium' volume that collected all the available images together and needed a few fillers. Enter - me.

The Dragonology series is great isn't it? Templar really tapped a vein when they started that format and its spin-offs. Hope you enjoy them even half as much as I do footmouse.
Cheers,
Nick

Hey PolygonWrangler,
Many thanks.
It's the new ability to create custom brushes easily that allows me to make it seem more textural. It makes all the difference.
And the create new brush button is just sitting there waiting for folk to discover and exploit it. Bet you can too - I have noooooo doubts. No, I'm not on commission to Autodesk before you ask - honest. Just a great software if you like to draw.

i guess you're talking about the "do-it-yourself" brush thingy. i didn't notice anything special in the custom settings, i'll have to look at the custom options again and mess around with it. thanx.

If you create a new brush by pressing the button - then double click on the new icon that appears - it opens up an editor palette, which includes a capture button, There's your ticket to fun.

Sounds cool. When I double-click my new brush icon, I get the Brush Properties palette...but there's no Capture button. I can further use the Edit button to use the Brush Properties window, but that's it. What does the Capture button do anyway? Do you have Sketchbook Pro 3 or something? lol.

I love the quailty of your pencil work. The detail in the dragon's scales and the waves is awesome and the concept behind this one is great. The dragon's expression makes the image for me!

Many thanks.
You do realise it's a digital drawing Sketchastrophe. The thing I love about Sketchbook Pro is how close the experience is to drawing in the real world, in terms of response and look. Uses the same skill set and I don't get covered in graphite. RSI instead?
