They need to make a movie where Godzilla is pure evil like that, hungry for power and humans, that would be a good movie.

He looks less evil and more psychotic. Though, I suppose people would find those words to mean the same thing.

Horrifying! Well done, is it the Godzilla design from the late showa era?

Yes!! My intention was to use that design (from the epitome of Godzilla's run as a hero) and contrast that with the Godzilla's original menacing character.

After Mechagodzilla's 2nd and final defeat in 1975, and over the course of 10 years, Godzilla descends into madness and attacks Tokyo in 1984.

Sure he's not good, but he's not bad either. I say this because he is not a hero or a villain...he's an animal.
Animals do destructive things merely out of caused aggression, or even fear thus trying to eliminate the threat without any human realization that what they do is wrong.
However Godzilla is not just an animal either, he is "Godzilla" and Godzilla can be whatever Godzilla can be. D

oh, yes I understand... I actually made this pic during the Fukushima nuclear incident a few years back, and have always preferred the nuclear terror Godzilla over the friend/savior of humanity Godzilla. Also, I feel Godzilla falls somewhere between beast and deity, but that my opinion, and would depend on how one defines the term 'Kaiju'

Define 'not good'! Godzilla, especially the Showa Godzilla in which this picture depicts, was mostly a good guy! He was a guardian of Earth and a good father to his strange son, Minilla. However, others of his species, the Heisei and Shinsei Godzillas, were not as loving. They hated mankind and were filled with hatred and rage for our destructive kind. But, he still did prove that he was a caring parent when tears of sorrow fell from the beast's rouged face when his only son, Godzilla Jr. mutated by nuclear bomb test, was slaughtered by the hellish goliath Destroyah in it's final demonic form! Even more sorrowful was when the nuclear menace melted down only a few minutes after his son's death, ending his race and legacy... But wait! The nuclear radiation he gave off as he melted down gave life to his son's corps and revived the Mellenium Godzilla, Godzilla 2000! This monster was even fiercer than the last and easily proved himself to be the new King of the Monsters! By the end of this series finishing with Final Wars He had easily shown that he was by far the most powerful force on this planet and even, perhaps, the universe! Sorry if I ranted too much... really nice work! I love the way his eyes are glowing red with rage as fresh warm blood drips from his huge and rouged jaws, filled with dagger-like teeth of epic proportions!

Well, glad you like it. I like all (well, most) of the films, but am of the belief that Godzilla shouldn't be a super hero. I also drew this during the Fukushima reactor meltdown, if that is pertinent. I can't, though, grasp the whole chronology you (and many others) speak of. The least I can wrap my head around is AT LEAST 7 chronolgies, not including '98 and the upcoming Legendary Picture version.

You really did a good job! I also see Godzilla as more of a voracious force of nature, one that wishes to protect his home, the Earth, and destroy all those who threaten it and since everyone knows what humans do to the Earth, it would make sense he shares a deep hatred for us! And yes, though there were only three series, the Showa, Heisei, and Shinsei, there were several suits used through all of them, at leasts twelve from what I counted! In terms of actual Godzillas, there was at least five.
