An in-progress look at a piece I have been working on for a while. There was another version I started, but I disliked the position of Asuka's head, and Shinji looked TOO shocked. I still have to work out the shading for the scene and add other theatre-goers, but as this is Tokyo-3, i thankfully don't have to add many. I actually plan to populate the remainder of the theatre with characters from other anime's. For example, the sketchy figure in the background will be Spike from Cowboy Bebop. I also plan to include Vash the Stampede, but I am having trouble deciding what to do with him. I can't decide if I want to put him in somewhat normal clothes on a date with Meryl, or to make him the Usher telling Spike to put out his cigarette...
