Yay for Sheridan Animation Facebook group prompts
So this one was due for next monday, but I got it done early since I had the motivation too and because I'm really busy this week so might as well get it done as soon as I could xD
So, we had a to base a drawing off of 5 songs that were given to us. The five were 'Heart of Courage'- Two Steps From Hell, 'Breathe'- Skrillex ft. Krewella, 'Thought of You'- Ryan Woodward, 'Cannibal Queen'-Miniature Tigers, and 'Under Cover of Darkness'- The Strokes.
So I picked 'Breathe' since Topaz (my college portfolio character) quickly came to mind, and I decided to experiment and what not.
It was a really fun 1 hour drawing, I enjoyed it <3
I was going to make this into a drawing video, but I forgot to record it T___T
Anywho, so yeah, that's that

The composition could include a little more negative space (I recommend looking at Lynd Ward and Olaf Gulbranssen, worked for me at least), but your graphic shapes are coming along nicely. ^^ I do love that ghost face, though... You're improving quite a bit. (The clouds are especially well molded.)
There's a scene in one of my projects that's alarmingly similar to this, and if I ever make it, please don't claim I've ripped you off. [link] It's synced to this piece (this is the Pretre version) - I'll probably try sampling it (without credit) from several sources and layering them. So glad for Italian copyright law...
I would have made art and posted it if it wasn't both the Grand Finale and if it wasn't so intensely personal.

Actually, you know what? Look at some Japanese prints - some Korean ink drawings. They have beautiful negative space, but treat it as an integral part of the positive design. It's inspiring.
