HI GUYS I HOPE UR READY FOR SOME SPOOKY PLANT PUFFS not so spooky i guess but good enough. these are Plant Puffs cursed with Bellum Insanus. Since it's a new disease curse, feel free to ask me any questions! THIS IS THE LONGEST FREAKING ARTIST DESCRIPTION I AM GENUINELY SORRY <_>

Oni [recommended plant type: N/A] A Puff that devoted himself to god as a monk. He is part of the group that works against the negative stigma of "monstrous" Plant Puffs. Often kind and generous, he is loved by any fellow Puff that is ignorant of his demonic parts. When insane, he believes strongly in the "hand of god" and believes it is in him to place judgement on people. He has a twisted black and white judgement of good and bad, and so he performs "god's will" by killing anyone who he deems evil.

HB: $45

Futakuchi-onna [recommended plant type: carnivorous] A Puff that is tormented by her second mouth. It has a mind of its own and reacts when she is frightened-- which is quite often. A time she tripped and startled herself, causing the mouth to bite down on her right leg. When insane, she is the essence of paranoia and believes no one will ever learn to love her... That is except her tail-- and all her insecurities arise from said tail. In Bloom she loses her "companion" which drives her more towards the edge.

You may choose your own plant upon purchase or allow me to choose one.

You are also allowed to inquire about minor edits. Which include:
Animal tail completely changed. N/A for this set
1 color palette edit.
Markings changed.

Anything involving changing the actual line art or integrity of a part of design will be +$10 upon winning. This includes more than 1 edit or extensive back-and-forth communication for modification/customization etc. If you have any questions on modifying the design, please submit them in the comments below before bidding so I can get back to you with a price estimate if any.

The result of this purchase will be akin to the samples below. This deviation will be updated with the final version once purchased.

Plant Puffs are creatures that have animal ears and botanical tails. Their tails are unique in that they contain the seeds of their plant. Their tails become more and more plant-like depending on the stage they're in and if the plant is ready to seed. Their civilizations tend to flourish in an array of color and varieties. When they travel, if the conditions are right, their plants will bloom in their paths.

I just started this new species so this is for me to flesh them out and for people to refer to if they have any questions. Sorry if I'm not very organized I do my best ;_; Also if you adopt one you may ignore all of this and have them as a regular character with the aesthetics you purchased. It's just fun for me to do this and hopefully fun for others.

Plant Puffs are a closed species. I am not claiming that I created fluffy tails or spiky tails or plant inspired OCs or blooming abilities. This is just my version of a plant inspired species.

You do not have to keep this adoptable as a Plant Puff it can just be a normal kemonomimi. The description below is just my image of them and you may change any aspect once purchased.

WARNING CURSED

Bellum Insanus is a curse that plagues a specific rural Plant Puff community (this community can be interpreted as modern rural or feudal period).

Little is known about the curse, only that it drives the possessor mad. Bell chimes are the only things that can soothe the afflicted Puff and so they wear them on their ears. Those driven to insanity must be calmed by priests and equipped with spiritual beads and bells to resume life. All of the cursed Puffs are encouraged to cut and shear their bloom as to prevent the spread of the curse. They also must keep their feet wrapped and covered to prevent their seeds from entering the earth.
Off springs of cursed Plant Puffs are often inhibited by spirits and are seen as demons.
When in Bloom they are more vulnerable to the curse and often have trouble keeping sane, even with their bells. (Blooms happen twice a year for most Puffs.)
Examples of their instability are paranoia, dementia, misguided ideas and intentions of their god, lack of restraint, etc...

What you will be getting
The unwatermarked version of the character on a transparent PNG. As well as the bigger version of the reference sheet.
The rights to the design.
