Ahh, I've done similar stuff too, actually, like my "Heavenly Savannah" deviation, where I pretty much just messed around with the effects and stuff of a picture I saved, cuz I was bored, kind of. 
It really does look nice, though. You've got some talent there, from what I've been able to tell of your pictures so far... I'm just rusty completely. <.<
