So-I was surfing the net, looking around for source material when I ran across this-[link]

This photo struck me as it doesn’t look like it was from a photo shoot, the paparazzi, or a movie still. It looks like a candid photo. What appealed to me was RDJ’s unusual expression. It presented some definite challenges to try to do justice to the photo. I hope it turned out ok. I got a little sloppy by the time I got to his clothing. I’m still working on trying to render folds and metal buttons properly (so I blew off the buttons on his vest…meh).

I’m submitting this to the RDJ FC Letter, since this is my best technical work to date.
