Daybreaker dragons are a common sight in the Liza Islands to the far north. These beasts are well known for being the most active at dawn and dusk; it's at these times when their scales catch the few rays of sun and take on brilliant hues. During other parts of the day they are either too blinding or dark to observe well. The Distant people of Liza have treated daybreakers as companions for much of their history.

This was a mostly experimental piece for me; I wanted to mess around with colors and overlays lmao. I like how he came out though!
