I have no idea why, but this somewhat reminded me of H.R. Giger's work when I first saw it...

perhaps it's the greys and the symmetry.

Very nice, I like the one touch of red in the fractal. The rest reminds me of frozen smoke, or something of the sort.

Ooohh, wow! This is so detailed and symmetrical, looks awesome.
It's like layers and layers of this wispy smoke, that is acting like a wall preventing anyone from coming near the red orb.. I think I go into these things too much, haha! But there you go.
