Comment: I wanted to try drawing some more fantasy people. I've been drawing so many dragons lately that I'm just about creatured out! Drawing the figure was a nice change of pace. This is Frostbite, a fairy of winter. She's not the nicest fairy in the glade, but that seems to be working for her! This image was drawn, inked, and colored in Adobe Photoshop CS3.

I adore the thought that went into this, right down to the darkened toes and fingers, especially since her name is Frostbite.
You should darken the tips of her ears and nose too.

She's delightful, down to details such as the impish expression and those shades of blue.
I've enjoyed your dragons, but wanted to see more winged folk as well, with your having once made so many memorable ones. I featured several of those creations in two Elfwood guided tours — unfortunately, that feature over there is defunct, at least for now.

The only thing I don't like, and I'm not usually one to point out anatomical oddities, is that her right ankle seems to be lacking some definition, like she has cankles or something going on.

It looks very beautiful! The picture reminds me of a book that I read. Ink Heart. If the girl wasn't the one for the prince she would get Winters Chill. (Something like that.)
You did a great job on this picture. The colors are a perfect fit and the wings and hair look outstanding. The girls figure and head shape, and the leaves and stick that she is holding is a perfect match also. You did a Great job. I love this one!
