I’m sure you all recognised the picture I was inspired by. It’s “L'ange déchu” (The fallen angel) by Alexandre Cabanel since I associate Elios with, supposedly, Lucifer a lot.
Elios betrays his allies and principles in order to gain power but his choice will bring Gorm to his knees in front of a war that will mark the People of the Air as traitors even in future eras.

This drawing is full of easter eggs and meanings, if you want to know more I’ll explain in a comment, I don’t want to bore you with a wall of text.
