simple, but elegant, with a very favourable composition.

advice: i see that soft and color contour was used to avoid harsh black lines (which are fine, nothing wrong with those), and i notice the horns are outlined in heavy black, which is inconsistent with the softer black of the hair and the timid gray of the skin. suggestion would be to contour the bright colours of the horns with a darker yellow or gold and then fade it to black getting closer to the hair and scalp (tl;dr outline yellow area with color, dark orange can stick to black). this will strengthen the lighting effect that's utilized on the horns. this might help or maybe it wont for for you or this piece.

i noticed the lighting effect, and it works. stronger highlights (just small bits of shine) in the contours of the eyelids, the top of the nose, and a bit stronger in the lip could be beneficial. the fade to black from the light is well done (from the shoulders to the top of the head). using warm blacks to compliment possibly his blood but the heart colour is also complimentary as it gives a high contrast from the light to dark. imagine playing around with colour light, such as reds and pinks? it could make things interesting and the technique is there.

the undertale overture was definitely noticed and it certainly works here.  one of my favourite valentine pieces of the year. <3
