I really love the idea of this dress. Thinking on realistic terms, it would be difficult to have mobility in it, but that's pretty much every mermaid dress that I know of. The cage part is a really lovely idea. I think the only odd part I see is the neck-piece. I like the pearls/beads on the side of the shoulders but the lace part is a little too much. I think a simpler accessory for that area would do it more justice ;3. Overall? I'd so wear this dress if I ever got married. It gives off a really sophisticated and elegant feel <3

I love the work you have done from top to bottom with all the frilly details. the neck pace so divine with the cameo , beads of pearls so very nice.

the to of the dress almost flower petals raped in lace . ^o^ it has very big idea but still not very over powering, it has a little punk in it , very nice. oh the pearls string a long like that almost spider web in soft mist of rain*0*. I just love it to death.
that hint of gold , just little bite of it so divine !
oh cant for get e hair pace cute!

This is my first critique and I really hope no one will get hurt or consider it too amateurish.
As artist Nekovi is clearly talented, full with fantasy and he is able to be inspired almost from everything (from famous cartoons to the bees hierarchy), and his gallery clearly shows that.
This is a neat example of haute couture, so it's a spectacular dress shining with jewels and full with flair.
But sometimes great fashion artists forget about a little detail. A dress is made to be put on. In this case it's a wedding dress and it should be put on during a marriage. The only problem is that among all the details, the jewels, the lace and the crinoline, the face of the pretty bride wouldn't be the first thing people would look at. It wouldn't be the fifth either. And for a bride this would be a big black mark.
Even if this beautiful dress is conceived for the runaway and it's conceived to amaze the eyes, and often haute couture is synonim of 'capricious', sometimes less is more. Without two or three details the dress would stand out much more.
Like Coco Chanel would say: β€œBefore you leave the house, look in the mirror and remove one accessory.”
Beside that, all the details are amazingly drawn and I love the figure of the dress, classic and close fitting.

I like that neck piece and the way the pearls come off of it onto her shoulders.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought about that anime. I found the similarity in the corset shape. It looked like a jellyfish bell to me.
