Issun from OkamiI wasnt cute enough for the characters regular design, so I roughed him up a bit... I hope you like it!

the outshowing parts are all vegetable tanned leather that i dyed myself over a plastic frame.

I've been a huge Okami fan for years, and I love and have seen ALOT of Issun cosplays. This so far has to be one of the best.
Sure the beard doesn't really suit him, but at the same time it doesn't. You really look like Issun, which I must add can be hard to pull off lol.
I don't know if it's just me, but the brush on the end of the sword doesn't look like a brush, sorta looks like a blob[maybe it's just me?]
All in all, AWESOME JOB.

Hmmm... I don't remember Issun having a beard... xD Perhaps Issun grew up and wizened over the years-- though I doubt he'd lost his penchant for being witty (or the occasional perv).
Back to the costume: excellent costume! You nailed so many details of this Poncle so well, and to see Okami being represented in cosplay makes me all the happier. I like your dekkimaru sword (if that's how you spell it), but most of all, I like that awesome helmet; the marble-like sheen gives it a nice texture and those antenna are quite awesome. How did you make it?

thanks! I really wasnt cute enough for the traditional issun, so i had to rough it up to suit my build.
The helmet is leather over a plastic frame. i hand dyed the leather for the natural textured look.
