Ya know how all of us scribble in class when we get bored of whatever they're teaching? This is what I did in art class... So you can imagine how boring it is. I'm tired of drawing fruits.Materials:

I love the expression on your koala's face, and you did a great job on the highlights as well as what to put into darker shadow.
I got bored in art class a lot too, I remember for a week the teacher would spill a bunch of nuts and bolts on the table and say draw; I was ready to scream...half the time I'd wonder off and start a project of my own, dunno why i got A's in the class since i almost never did as he asked.

That sounds a lot like my art class. It drives me nuts. We always gotta sketch fruits and pinecones and peanuts(those are the worse). I'm still holding a 96 in the class though so it's not too bad. As long as I get it done I get the marks but sometimes I just don't wanna go... I wanna draw monsters or something fun. Haha.

I never really understood what drawing fruit was all about so dumb and boring...This tops all of my bored in class pictures hahahaha lol I love its originality, also the pride look on its face and the white x's around the ear area- awesome job...but my only question is : did you do that from memory?

Thanks! Yes Actually. If you look carefully there's not much to it. Pretty much just the outline and some fur in certain places, back on the wood and you're good to go!

KOALA! This caught my eye when it flashed by on the front page. Like the textures in the fur, and the subtle color hints throughout. A nice little piece.
