this is beautiful .. i was just browsing your gallery and i came back to the front page to find this wonderful piece .. i love the sense of abandonment here .. the depth of field, also great, in some weird way gives the shoes a sense of personification, making them a thing to be pitied .. it makes you think about who owned them, and how many people have simply just passed them by, and how long they have been there .. what a very nice capture.
