I captured this scene approximately 45 min after these shots .

It appeared as if mom was trying to teach this little one a lesson. She walked away from him not without turning her head a few times to see what he was doing. Meanwhile, the cub lost track of her and then called out for her, apparently in distress.

Unfortunately, I cannot provide the audio accompanying this picture, but whoever has heard a lion cub cry out for his mom, will know that it is heart-rending.

But everything turned out well, a few minutes later he was reunited with his mom and the rest of his family.
