Yet another redraw of the hedgie group shot, this is my third attempt at it by now, and KG here got new awesome markers so I thought it'd be a nice piece to test it out on. Of course, my lineart is terrible and shaky as always (loads of little mistakes everywhere too, ouchies), but at a first glance, it's pretty nice, eh?Original: fav.me/dc21hdk

Actually, they're ones you've recommended to me some while ago, Promarkers. I saw them on the shelf for a reasonable price so I picked 'em up. They're so nice and fun to work with, but can be hard to control at times.

Ah really? I'm glad you like them When it comes to them being hard to control, do you mean they often "bleed" in the paper? Because if they do then may I suggest acid free paper if your not using that, When I started using acid free paper it didn't bleed as much, if you have any acid free paper and want to try using alcohol markers more I'd recommend that
I think your line art is pretty good too <3 If you want to create an even more dramatic look and find an interesting way to build confidence with traditional lineart, then maybe try experimenting with different line weights maybe? This might help you if you struggle with lineart? It looks amazing though

Yeah, that is mainly what I found hard about using them. For this, I was using a page from my A5 sketchbook. I'm not sure if it's acid free, but I will be sure to get some and try it out, thank you so much for the tips!
In hindsight, I think it might just be the fault of the fineliner I was using, because it has very quick-flowing ink. I would normally use an ordinary black ballpoint pen for lineart, ha ha.
