PROCESS
Twilight is made from lilac, midnight blue, fuchsia and custom dyed purple minky.
She is approx 40" tall from ear to toe. Her horn, wings and cutiemark were embroidered with a Bernina 830LE embroidery machine, Madiera Rayon embroidery thread, and Bernina V6 embroidery software. Her eyes were manually sewn with a sewing machine using applique. Her pattern was designed by me. She has 3d hooves and ears. Her neck and front legs can rotate.
Please do not ask for the pattern, under no circumstance will I be giving it out.

Finally got the pics done for this girl! I haven't made a lifesize pony in YEARS, so I was so exited to get to make this girl. Ended up making a special pattern for her that legs her head and front legs rotate. She's so adorable, I especially love that front view. She does take up a lot of space though! Very heavy girl (would estimate around 8kg+).

This actually makes me curious (she's insanely lovely Naz my god look at that pretty purple smart), have you ever thought about making the back legs rotatable just like the front ones? I'm not sure if it would be practical for a standing pony but for something that lays down it might be cute if doable. Either way this is fantastic and i'm really impressed how well you scaled up the proportions to get her silhouette right.

It's something I've really thought about! I don't think I could do it on a lifesize pony since the weight would be too much, but a smaller one I'd like to try. It'd just be a matter of not having any awkward gaps in the anatomy when the leg was rotated in a different position

Just noticed that on every shot you are supporting the head with your hand. It wouldn't be a surprise at this scale and with so large (and surely heavy) head if it can't, but can it keep the head up on its own? It looks that it's standing on its legs without problems.

She can't support her head on her own, but can stand if it is resting on something. I could usually make her head stand up but the commissioner didn't want a hard skeleton inside her, that would make her rigid

I don't mean to imply I can afford one, but just out of curiosity how much would a plushie this size cost?? I saw that up to like 30" could be in the $3000-$5000 (Or something like that, my memory is horrible) and my curiosity is eating me alive XD This is incredible by the way!! You amaze me!!

Lol Naz lives in Australia so I'm not sure where she got her's but, where I live in the US there's a Craft Store Chain that sells Poly-Fill Stuffing in like 20lb. boxes.
