Description never thought I would see this, but this one was just resting it's head after pounding away at a dead tree.With the freezing temps we've had for the past week, I'll bet that wood was like concrete! ......no wonder this one looks like it could use an Aspirin!

Hi Cynthia  , Yeah it was taking a much needed rest after that workout.
I was surprised that it wasted all that energy, when it was just feeding at the suet feeder station. You never know what these birds are thinking when they do stuff like this.

sometimes the birds will do just the wackiest things....
he should've stayed with the suet feeder..softer and more nutritious..
