it's called that, because the color pattern matches a humming bird.. it flies like a humming bird and it feeds like a humming bird.

Yeah don't you hate when that happens. I had a weasel cross the road as I was putting my camera away this morning.... not a chance to get a picture as usual.
So Sorry to hear about your best buddy passing on. I just hope who ever did this will pay a heavy price for their actions in the next world! Senseless, and down right criminal! You have my deepest regrets and sympathy my friend.
