This is my tribute to All Star Batman and Robin by Jim Lee. I updated this old pic so I could submit it to the repaneled blog [link] for a side by side comparison to the original seen in "ASB&R"#6. I'll keep you posted when and if it gets accepted.**UPDATE** I just got an email that it will be posted on the blog Thursday February 17, 2011. Yeah Bat-ass, yeah![link]

Oh Frank Miller, why did your writing go to hell? Love the piece, Nathan, but B&RAS is one of those series I'm trying to forget.

Yeah I hear you. I love all of Frank Millers other work and Jim Lee too, so this seemed like a slam dunk. Basically Frank Miller wrote "Marv" from "Sin City" as Batman. I still love it for the art, but the story is whacked.

The whole introduction Batman gives to Dick in the first book just killed it for me. Especially the "I'm the Goddamn Batman!"

Yeah I was disappointed when it first came out. Still I own the Hardcover, more for the art.
