Concept for a personal project that I have been working on for the past year

This looks very depressing. You seem to understand how to play with space. the figure is alone in a sea of negative space. I do not know if the figure is shot and that is blood or if the figure is throwing flower petals or ash into the wind. Or if the figure is free some birds.

I do have my own story behind this
This image was practice because I usually have a lot of difficult with negative space and composition. But pleased to hear that, it means I am taking a step in the right direction!

I haven't watched much anime in so long. I used to love it when I was a teenager/early 20's. But there weren't many ones that interested me :/ though there are a couple that have caught my eye! I'm too busy going through 100's of other T.V. series though! I am currently watching Homeland. Recently went through all of Clone Wars, and Breaking Bad, Battlestar Galactica, Ghost in the Shell...The list goes on!!

That's a sweet city! The textures on the buildings/windows really give it that dense and busy metropolis feeling. The lighting and colors are really realistic too. That's some quality, speedy work.

I know right?! I keep timing myself too but I have a ways to go.. and now I'm trying to balance things out because I know other artist who take like 120 hours and their work is breathtaking! Faster is awesome though!

I loved the softness in the athmosphere, also the buildings looks really good! My eyes was straight to that little person in red. Great composition!

Oh wow, this is stunning. The color pattern is absolutely amazing, I like how subtly you've integrated red hues in the background - and your buildings are magnificent, they look so fragile and translucent... Great great great job!
