I wasn’t planning on entering this year, but when I read that the subject was Sherlock Holmes I just couldn’t resist. Had to be done.

This is probably my favourite of the three illustrations.
I love the movement, composition and colour scheme. The way you drew her fits so perfectly the little quote you used from the book. That tiny glimpse of her eye really captures that she is a woman to be reckoned with.
