Description I'll try and make my explanation for this brief.

I'm more active on Instagram these days, so I've been following quite a few bead artists there. There are so many insanely talented individuals that post these gorgeous hand-embroidered/beaded pieces, works in progress, designs, etc.. I decided to finally take some time when I could and start learning some new beading techniques so that I could try my hand at these beaded masterpieces. <3 This is my first necklace in this style of bead embroidery and I'm obsessed. I have a pretty expansive bead stock, so I wanted to create a piece that would hopefully use up a bunch of my blue and white beads so I could make some room (spoilers, I made no space lol). I sketched out a very simple design and slowly started working over the span of about 2 months. Each component is made with a simple beaded back stitch and a peyote border. I used a bunch of clear AB crystals for the collar piece and every single light blue Swarovski bead I had. The piece is very sparkly, but it's always difficult to capture in a single photo.

I'm happy with it for the most part. I think the flow of the colors is a bit off, but overall it's a pretty successful first beaded necklace.
