Hush is the second pictures of the set five and mean to be hold still, to be maintain in silence. You have to take in consideration the entire set if you want to get a proper impression of it, since it's a progression from Bleak Reverie to Morbid Equilibrium. But first, Hush, the moment before the condemnation of the crown. Even if there's a feeling of ritualistic feeling attach to the progression, I'm intend to say that it's a materialization of her own self. The pitch black hands are a physical representation of her own state of mind, something emerging from her obscure self. Something that must be conceal, so the requierement of stillness and silence. The rite of passage take then the role of acceptance and the consent of a unwanted form of her personae. But then again, this is more of a turn of fate than a progression in the search of a equilibrium. From bleak to morbid, it's not a monumental step forward, right? The Tenacious Embraces maybe make reference to a feeling of anxiety, anguish or another means to reach that state of stability.
So high praise for vision and originality.
The technique is really satisfying. The tar hands are simply astonishing, the ornamentation is beyond great. The model does her job well as victim full of sorrow trying lamentably to gain upper ground against the darkness. There's something about passive compliance about her, don't you think? The angle is great and I like the singularity and the substance of the color.
For the impact, remember me, at least for a week, to not linger into dark alley at midnight. It's a hit for sure! A meaningful composition, dessert for the esoteric mind.
