woah that's really amazing, I thought it was good even before I realized it is painted on a leaf...very impressive, and creative. I love gum trees, the leaves are pretty and the seeds are cool, too.
there are alot of redtails arround where I live and I have been taking photos of them lately, which is what drew me to look at this in the first place.
really well done.

Awww, gosh, thanks! ::Grins:: Gum trees are always awesome, unless you step on one of the seeds barefoot ^.^; And yay for Redtails! One of the best ever.

Wow, you're very ambitious, aren't you? I like this picture and the story behind it. The most interesting bird we see around here are crows. XP

-dances- Tobias! One of my favourite characters ever. Bird Boy. Come on! =3
That being said, I love your unique canvases. Your paintings are always a treat to look at. I feel compelled to think "What shall she paint and what on next?"

Bird Boy was awesome.
::Laughs:: Thanks! As for what to paint on next... I have some stuff set out. A rock, a flower petal, a shell... stuff like that. But it may be a while before I get to it.

Yep! That's what I named the resident Hawk for anyway. The way the books ended didn't exactly thrill me though :\

::Blushes a ton:: I'll continue painting on objects probably (Like rocks. Everyone's done rocks, I should give it a try) but I probably should mess with canvasses a bit.
::Laughs:: I suspect there'll be more in time, but for the moment, I think I need a break from stareing at the screen all day. I'm tickled all to peices you like them so much...

That's really cool. I mean, besides it being an awesome painting, and the cool backstory, painting on a leaf is really cool. I've seen paintings on feathers, too. It's all very cool, I think.
Amazing painting, and I'm positive you gave your Tobias all the glory and lofeliness he could ever want. ^^
Kudos!
Bekca.

People paint on most everything. There's one artist (I forgot who, I'm afraid) who painted on bed linens and things O.o . And gosh, thank you so much!

I imagine it might be a little uncomfortable to sleep on paint, but that's an interesting idea. Painting on stuff from nature is my personal favorite. Leaves, feathers. As long as nothing gets hurt. ^^
<3 painting
