Awwe.... I think I'm adding this one to my list of good quotes to live by....
Also, I've found personally that tablets are way overrated. Mice are just as easy to work with; they just take a slightly different version of hand control. Of course they don't do the gradation in pressure the way that tablets do, but I do believe that there are still settings you can control to indicate gradation level.... At least, it was that way in the ancient copy of Photoshop Elements that I used to have. I dunno. I personally favor the mouse, but I'm just weird like that.
Anyway.... I love the drawing! Absolutely adorable!

::Is flattered::
I think that when/if I do get a tablet, that I'll switch back and forth, dependigng on what I'm doing. There are some strokes and lines I just can't seem to get with a mouse though. ::sadface::
::Blushes and hugs:: Thanks hon!

That's actually a very good idea too. I've seen tons of 'everything I needed to know I learned from my .. ' dog, cat, whatever kinda books.
This is an absoutely charming new take on the idea.

::Laughs:: I'm not sure if I have enough of hammies for a whole book... I was thinking more along the lines of unusual animal wisdom... like a Chamelion with wonky eyes saying "Look at things from all angles' and whatnot. But I do have a couple other hammie ones.
::Hugs:: Thank you.

Aww, this is so cute! I LOVE hamsters!! Growing up, I was the hamster queen- I went through about 12 of them. My last one died about two years ago, but I plan on continuing the hamster tradition again someday.
They're so great, and a few of my hamsters had such interesting personalities. I had one very cute one who must have thought he was a dog, because he would lick me all the time, lol.
Then I had one who was a regular Houdinni because she would frequently escape even though her cage was secure. She got out once, and I couldn't find her, so I figured she was dead. Two months later, my dad finds her in the basement; alive and well, and CHUBBY! LOL. After that I was able to keep her in the cage, where she lived a good two more years or so. She looked a lot like the hamster you drew here.
Anyway, good job with the fur! It amazes me how people can draw things on the computer with a mouse.

Wow, that's an awesome hamster tale (Tail?)... the closest I have to compare to that is when my second baby, Chewie escaped, but we found him later thatday under the hamster table, playing with the hamster toys and in the boxes.
