I made this small farewell card for a co-worker who absolutely loves moomins. Who doesn't?!But I didn't know her favorite characters so I ended up making a landscape painting. Which was super fun! I was also on a tight schedule with this so that was also a plus of sorts – didn't have time to overthink! >w<

Time: 3 hours (drying time included)
Tools: Pencil for sketching, fine and thick watercolors, white gel pen and salt.
Ps: I recently changed my signature a little. If you happen to wonder what happened to it. I never really liked the old one, haha.

I didn't have a specific story in mind when I made this, but now that I look at it I think of "Moominvalley in November". November has been so dark and gloomy since we don't have snow yet in Finland. But during weekend the weather got colder and the sky clearer so I was able to see a nice sunset against the dark landscape, sort of similar to the scenery in this painting (no mountains though)...
