Yeah I need to shove these guys into the light more.. it's hard to introduce new characters to the public when there's not a lot to base them off of for you. ..I can't even remember how A2 got so familiarized. XP

I could go into some lecture about the public latching onto a group of characters going under a familiar banner, but meh.
Kurohebi is hardly a household name, while if you slap those red clouds and black cloak on a character, someone's bound to notice.
Naturally, people will be drawn to the more familiar characters, and subconsciously the creator will put more effort into the characters that get the most attention.
It's all psychological.

It helps that Akatsuki is originally from the manga/anime.. A2 only plays some of it's fame because of that. Regardless of recognizable uniform, people seem to be finding it simple to remember who's who in A2, rather in K1 - neither will evereverever surpass the true Akatsuki, but it's nice to have some ground to stand on in the fan world.
Kurohebi has very small acknowledgments because they are not even budding from an original concept, but it'll be better once they find themselves with some breathing space. XD

In my somewhat amatuer opinion, I think you should do more art of Kurohebi, seeing as how we don't know much about them other than what they look like and their names. I think if you explained their goals and powers a little bit more people would appreciate them.
Of course, seeing as how I can't get pageviews to save my life, you may want to disregard that little pearl of wisdom. XD

I know I always say something about the expressions, but they are nothing beyond sheer genius here. Tarusa's grin while Miyaki is 'debriefing' the new employee, and not very privately I may add haha
His expression following the news, and subseqeunt panel had me in stitches, particularly the way his hand shot up and Madatake just falls straight down. Love the effect on the speech bubble btw, great way of conveying anger and horror
Love all their different reactions while it's going on too, I'd comment on them all but I am oblivious to their names, well mostly anyway.

I need to give these guys their own bio pages too like A2 had. ..That should help with the poor name-memory. It's only expected though, we never see them that often, thus there's not enough for you guys to grow on.. personality-wised they're still pretty lucid to the public. XP
