Some concept sketches for a character that I've had for quite a while, but am only sharing now.

Meet Abby! She is a cute, yet unnerving little girl with a peculiar "doll-like" appearance. She is also what you could consider a half-human, half-vampire "hybrid" of sorts.

My idea was that her mother was infected with vampirism while pregnant, thus leading to the baby becoming infected as well. Perhaps her mother was able to be cured, but seeing as how Abby was still in the womb, there wasn't anything that could have been done to cure her.

I can imagine that her mother died due to complications with having a *ahem* blood-sucking, life-leeching demon inside of her. Because Abby was born a vampire, however, she cannot be cured of vampirism, or even killed like your typical vampire. She was born this way and will remain so for her whole life. She doesn't seem too upset about it, though. In fact, she doesn't seem to even realize there is anything wrong with her life!

After she was born, her "father", the vampire who infected her mother, took her in. Now she lives with him and all his underlings, living out her best lil'l vampireling life in absolute bliss. Sometimes her family will even bring new friends for her to play with! She loves having fun and making new friends. It's just a shame she can sometimes get a little... carried away. Should one of her newfound "friends" upset her, she'll have quite the temper tantrum involving screaming, crying, destruction and, of course, blood. So much blood...

Hope you like her! As always, she's still a work in progress, but I'm happy to finally share my lil'l vampire baby with the world!
