Description AI GENERATED.  I do not profess to be good at this, merely trying to get better.  I am specifically providing this as an example of one of my fails.  There is no reference image for this pic, as I've had trouble finding ones I like.  Niraz is a member of the Main Cast and one of the first girls the main character (Ott) meets after erupting (gaining his powers)... and I've NEVER had any luck finding a picture I like for her.  I've been using a placeholder that happens to have green hair and an expression similar to what I want.  She's third on the list of nigh-emergency level pic replacements.

TheGynarchy is an interactive story (sometimes called a "quest") I am currently writing on Fiction.Live.  New readers are normally directed to the "Reformatted" version, which is the same material but in a cleaned up and consistent format that takes advantage of features the site didn't have when I started.

Civilian ID: Niraz abandoned her civilian ID the moment she erupted
Super Name: Niraz (she invented this name when she was in elementary school). It's pronounced NI-raz
Affiliation: PRIMUS, currently a freshman at PRIMUS Academy.
Original School: Michtendorf (she can be seen in the original Kindergarten class picture with Ott and many others)
Power Archetype: HiTek
Trainer: Marty
Training Group: Team 8
Power Tier: type-1 gamma
Power-set(s): Disruption.  She tells people she's a Ghost, but the teachers (and her close friends) know better
Taint: Electricity
SPM: Null (no exposure)
Theme Song: "Fighting Dreamers", otherwise known as Naruto Opening #4
Character Quote: "I feel like I've been Niraz all along."

BACKSTORY
Niraz grew up obsessed with the super heroes of her world - because she just KNEW she was going to become one of them.  So she worked out, learned martial arts, and studied everything she could not just about the current supers but those of the First Emergence (the campaign world's equivalent of the "Golden Age" of comics).  Her father always suspected Niraz might not truly be his child and insisted on an independent verification, and the test said she was.  The distrust led to their divorce, which was followed by her mother having a severe bout of cancer she barely lived through.  Some people would say Niraz's obsession was her way of escaping this - those that know her know it predated this.

Upon erupting, she quickly proved to be one of the more powerful members of the class - although she lost in the quarterfinals of the initial testing because she was mistaken about what her taint (super-weakness) would be.  She quickly became a friend with Ott when he recognized her despite how radically her physical appearance has changed (in particular, she now appears Japanese instead of Caucasian).  She also confirmed that instead of being a Ghost, she in fact has the Disruption power-set - previously believed to be unqiue to The Disruptor - the second-most hated supervillain in the setting.

Yeah, turns out that's her real father.  Oh, and that means she's Ott's aunt, technically, despite them being the same age.  Ah, the wonders of genetic tampering...

POWERS
A casual observor would mistake Niraz as having the more-common Ghost power-set, allowing her to go 'out of phase' or ethereal so that she can pass through solid objects (and vice versa, obviously).  The first clue that this isn't the case is that her taint is wrong: instead of being vulnerable to certain spectrums of light, Niraz is vulnerable to electricity.  This means she can pass through the fiber-optic weave that blocks Ghosts but can't phase through a live electrical current.

As is common in the setting, Niraz has a number of 'necessary secondary powers'.  She does not breathe anymore, in fact her sense of smell is greatly muted as a result.  She can see through most substances - although this is blocked by the fiber-optic weave like it does ghosts.  Unlike most Ghosts, however, she possesses the ability to project green energy blasts (including at point-blank range, which she uses to amplify her punch\kick damage).  Most of her classmates presume this is due to a second power-set (that is, that she is a type-2 gamma instead of a type-1).

Niraz's flight power falls under the "Lift" style of flight: she has high maneuverability and can easily hover, but she isn't as fast as Thrust or Winged flyers and definitely can't reach campaign-level movement.  In her case, however, it goes a step further.  Niraz doesn't 'fly' so much as she appears to have turned on a Noclip cheat - a fact I've accidentally described so often the readers started kidding me about it (ala the Jar Of Greed meme for Yugioh).  While this means she can instantly accelerate and decelerate, it also means her flight has no momentum (in game turns, she gets no +v/5 bonuses in combat).

One thing you might be expecting is for her to go 'partially solid', but this is not available in the setting due to the high levels of absue.  There are ways around this, and she's starting to learn them.

One other difference between Niraz and most Ghost types: she can disguise the fact she is out of phase.  Normally Ghosts gain a translucent appearance when doing so, but by spending extra quantum Niraz can be out of phase while looking normal.  (in game terms, her Desolidification power is in a Multipower with a No END slot and a Invisible Power Effect slot).

SKILLS
Niraz's greatest skill is her vast, beyond-encyclopedic knowledge of the world's supers - she's spent more points on super-related Knowledge Skills than most characters in the setting spend on skills period, and she had that before erupting.  She is also a skilled martial artist, although the fact that she's training both melee and ranged combat means she's fallen a bit behind the class's purely-melee fighters.

Her fighting style has morphed from standard tournament martial arts into one that suits her powers - most importantly taking advantage of her "noclip cheat' flying.  Niraz doesn't perform a Legsweep, she flips upside down and pulls your ankles out from under you while kicking you in the chest.  She'll do things like going horozontal at waist height to make herself less of a target while punching you, axe kick upwards instead of throwing an uppercut, and so forth.

PICTURE NOTES
Trying to create AI pics without reference pics is usually a lost cause, but I have to admit this is one of the sillier fails I've seen in a while.  The hair is a bit longer than I want but I could level with this.  The outfit is almost totally wrong though; I can't seem to get the AI tool to understand two-toned grey to save my sanity.
