As his name suggests, Robert is decended from metal workers. However, he felt a religous calling and was recruted by the church and trained as "God's strong arm" to smite the wicked. Although a great fighter, Robert wants to return home and become a preacher, buying or building his own chapel with money obtained from adventuring and "spread the good word". He carries a copy of The Scriptures and Doral's "A Guide To Priesthood -or- What Every Preacher Should Know" which he reads whenever he has a spare moment.
