Description Jeez did the year just fly on by like a massive blur! I know that there are gaps here and there throughout the year but, they are there for good reason. This year has the first anniversary of my current relationship, this was the year that I graduated University, this was the year that I reconnected with friends that I had almost lost, this was the year that I experienced the most with art; more than I had ever before. Art has never been at the forefront of my focus however, I love it all the same. As things get hectic I do have to drop hobbies to focus on life but, after seeing all my art lined up for the year I'm really hoping this encourages me to experiment further and continue to expand even further.

I've done my best to find at least one published piece from each month (including a link to them below) and I am so excited to welcome in the New Year with you all!

January - fav.me/dcxo2li

This was my first time going back into the realm of dA RP groups. It had easily been 2-4 years since I was heavily active in one and was excited to be a part of one again! I had been a member of Pokimono ages ago and it was fun to step back into that group even though it was for a short amount of time. At this time I was currently at university and hadn't thought to bring my tablet with me, it had been ages since I used it anyway but, it was really refreshing to going back to a more traditional method of sketching and lining and coloring!

February fav.me/dcyw5ky

Surprise; a new group! I had gotten so sucked into the roleplay scene I was trying to join groups left and right! I absolutely love this little spitfire and hope I can revisit her more permanently in the future. Still no tablet!

March - Regrettably, do to a mix of midterms, personal issues, and just general life I wasn't able to complete any art for March.

April -  A similar sentiment can be said for April as final exam rolled in, I had to pack up my dorm for the summer, determine my class schedule for summer and fall, and other such issues.

May fav.me/dd7wn3m

Not too much great art came out of May. This piece was for a biweekly drawing prompts that a Zombie post-apocalyptic group I was in would do to encourage folks to draw and expand on our OCs!

June fav.me/dd8nsfc

June was a pretty slow art month for me as I came home to vegetate from college life. I think it was also around this time that I decided I needed to branch out and, at the very least, draw more male characters. He isn't the best but, compared to earlier attempts he's a huge improvement. He's a massive airhead with his sister at heart and just loves living life with a laid back attitude.

July fav.me/ddb5fdp

Oh dang that's a lot of art, at least for me. A couple of folks in the zombie group were drawing their characters in other animation styles which is something I've never attempted before. It was a ton of fun and there was as art of my OCs in RPs that were focused on other anime and the like!

August fav.me/dddxaqc

This is still one of my favorite character's I've designed and one of my best drawings to date. This was the semester I was able to bring my laptop with me to the campus and I think I used it well. One day I'll use you again Nao, one day!

September fav.me/ddgw1nt

The Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Kaiba) train was in full swing and I was definitely on of it's many happy passengers! It's a beautiful show in its animation, sound design, characters, voice acting; its honestly a great show that I think all level of anime fans can enjoy! I had to make my own demon slayer OC and she is actually a rehash of a character from earlier this year. Love her to bits and more!

I was actually crazy to take on something as complex as Inktober with almost no preparation mentally or creatively. Once I started I couldn't stop. It was so addicting to draw something new every day and this year from Day 1 became a muse for a good majority of the prompts. Not every drawing I am proud of however, I'm proud of the fact that I never missed one day! I have them all on my twitter and I plan to use it more to post more art going forward.

November - College sucks the soul right out of you :T I had plans to complete a GymSona in honor of Pokemond Sword and Shield that had dropped this month however, I was never happy with the base pose and never got around to completing it. I hope that once I finish the game I'll be inspired to pick it up again!

December - GRADUATION! This month was a whirlwind of nail biting finals, agonizing over final exam scores that seemed to never go up fast enough, my college graduation and after party, then a three day drive home to vegetate until now! Here's to a new year where I hope I can draw at least one thing per month, haha!
