I've been browsing thru a lot of Japanese art sites lately^_^. I wanted to try colouring with solid colours^_^... So I drew this pic.original character...heroine of one of my manga's

Woah. This is awesome. I love the crisp, clean lines and the coloring is beautiful. The shadows are another great aspect, I think. Not quite sure how I feel about the ghost-like-something in the backgroudn, but... meh. S'all good. lol

Ooh, so beautiful... @x@ I love how the chara's innocent expression contrasts with the blood dripping down her hand~ 'tis a very nice touch! ^-^ I also ADORE her stylish costume design; it's got such Asian flair X3
At any rate, awesome job with the solid coloring~ it looks so smooth and professional! The colors contrast beautifully, the shading is well done, the blood splatter on the weapon is very clear and looks gorgeous, and the composition rocks~~ no criticism in these two cents! ^^ <3

It looks like an illustration straight out of an official anime artbook. I've always wanted to do something like this, but I couldn't pull it off. You're so versatile, you can pull off any style and mood you want. I think that's really really amazing.
(And the ghost is so fluffy and cute. I want one.)
