Description Garden of Unearthly Delights -- Hieronymus meets Feininger. My first attempt at acrylics, learned a great deal with this experiment. It's probably upside down.

"its probably upside down" -
some of the most thought provoking art in the world is the kind in which even its creator is left feeling perplexed by the finished result

Thank you, and thanks for the favourite. What any of it means just always seems that little bit out of reach.

Balance, rhythm, light and shade, tone and texture, and possibly proportion and anatomy.  It's got it all.  A well composed . . .  eh . . . just, well composed!

An easel is very handy and helps much. Since one looks in a different angle on the canvas/paper, the proportions come more natural too. Try it!

Wow! That is an interesting mixed-media picture, great!!!
What another nice thing is with acrylics... you can dilute them, 'til they are like watercolour and layer them... this can create some interesting effects too.
I am absolutely sure you will learn very fast to use them!

Thank you. I'll just keep working this one to destruction as a practice. It makes a great difference having the right brushes. Did you get your package yet, I posted it last Friday, hope it hasnt gone missing,
