Description Spoiler!

In the Sailor Moon manga, near the end of the first major story arc; there was a sword that was meant originally to be used in defense of the princess in the Moon Kingdom. It never got the chance to be used, as Serenity and Endymion were both assassinated before the princesses guardians could reach them.

It was later re-discovered by the Scouts. Failing to rescue a possessed Endymion, Sailor Moon opts to use the sword to kill him and herself.

This is a fanart I did after a re-read and thinking that the sword never really did get used for what it was supposed to. Also, I'm a sucker for love stories. Only a few, but those I like, I really like.

Nice job with her hair. It's got dimension to it!

Thanks! I've always found a the sheer volume of it a little intimidating when drawing.

She is such a fun character to draw, with that long wavy hair and all her accessories.

Once when I was really young (and my hair was very long) I had my aunt put my hair up like that...holy cow, it felt like my scalp was going to split! I couldn't imagine having those clips on the buns weighing it down even more.

Oh no! my own personal problem with the hair style (or even normal pig-tails or double-braids) is that the hair on one side of my head is notably thicker than on the other. So the part kind of winds up looking odd in the back, lol.
