Detail version of the beach days on my other submission. I did a decent amount of drawing over vacation, so another few should be coming... eventually.

My young cousin actually saw me drawing this and was rather impressed. He said I could sell it for $20. Ah... if only...

On this drawing: I still hate doing backgrounds, but I opted to do this one myself instead of my usual technique. I guess it's not bad, but it helps that there's little detail. I had also wanted to mirror the image so the mole under her eye was more visible, but the drawing as a whole didn't look as good mirrored. That's the price to pay, I suppose.

Without the red pants, this is what Naka's bikini bottom thing looks like. I think I've decided that she wears it simply to have some form of underwear on. The red pants aren't actually connected to the bikini bottom at all, but are connected by a magical adhesion thing in the big gold buckle. By pressing the button in the center it unadheres so she can take them off.

The bikini top here was designed to be of the same style as the bottom, with gratuitous ribbons and ties. There's one in the center of the back as well. Though I've heard someone say otherwise, I still say this top is much more revealing than her bandages, but I'm still debating replacing the bandages with this. I guess I'll have to do a sketch of that so I can compare side by side to decide, myself.

I seem to have a thing for giant impossible hair, and so when I realized Naka's hair would be really long when not tied up I've been wanting to do more of her with her hair down. And make it longer, much longer than necessary...

I suppose the final things to mention are that I hate foreshortening (who doesn't?) but had to on her leg and arm here. I had originally done some on her right arm, but it didn't look right so I just stretched it out to normal. I tend not to do many action poses, mostly because I'm more interested in concept art and character design, so I'll draw characters in a way that you can see their entire design, but still reflect a little on the character's personality. Also, I hate drawing feet from the outside. The inside has that nice arch which makes the foot look elegant. The outside edge is just ugly.

edit: Seeing as I drew this without reference, I kind of messed up her bikini bottom. Edited to more reflect the one in her normal outfit and what an actual bikini bottom would look like. It looks more revealing I suppose, but it's actually not.
