Prototype design for Skull Buckle, Crossbone Pirate now complete . I’ve even managed to include a small background with a beach and even a pirate ship in the background

i was going for a more anatomicaly correct version of skull Buckle ,and i am impressed with the level fo detail, good touchups and color detail and even the water effects in the background

for referece, i used the original Skull Buckle ref here , and then i also incoperated elements form Raphael of rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles, due to their anatomys being quite similar , by incoperating the ref, this made skull buckle not only more anatomicly correct, but it also preserved his mr universe esque body structure, with his chunkier upper body compared to lower body.
i also managed to add special layers of paint onto S.B to not make him look so flat, the highligths and specoial brushs uses when paingint him made his skin look rough and scaley, not like previous flat images.

His armor pieces are actually painted on a seperate layer. no outline there painted onto the body and then blended with more darker colors to give it a mroe metalic feel. the same trick was applied to his eXtra Large cutlass, which was intentional given that he has huge hands

there is also an alternate versuion of Skull Buckle which has him without his eye patch, but i wont be uploading that soon.

Here Skull Buckle seems to be alone on this floral island. the beach itself lined with wildgrass and slowers. i personaly enjoy the sea effect i made in the background, It reallt feels liek your in an ocean. Do note that i have a lack of consistancy on the background and intend to contunue working hard to ensure more constant results

on another note, one may spot a familiar pirate ship in the background, this one covered by a sea of clouds and mist...lets see if anyone can spot it tho

of corse, there is also a special cipher, which you can decipher using this link HERE . As mentioned before, i intend to be adding more cipher into my future artworks , they are my special message towards the fans and they also hold special meaning to each charecter. If you are a loyal follower fo the cypher, then you can potentialy be rewarded with special prises should the time arise. so my tip is to Watch, keep your eyes peeled and memorise this coding!

this is a alternate version of this artwork ive posted a while back , the main difference (aside from a small color change) is that his eyepatch is discarded,revealing what happened to his eye. Now i dont exactly know myself, usualy eye patches are used to cover up a injured eye/blind eye or even no eye at all.

Here i went for the second option where he was blinded in one of his eyes,and therefore wears the eyepatch to cover it up . Im mostly saying this cus i dont want to make things dark/graphic by making one of his eyes gouged out.
Anyways, this is the modified version, i hope everyone can enjoy
