At last! A different drawing! This is the other commander for Battle Report of WarseerΒ΄s Firebase. [link]Original miniature was a conversion with pieces from Marneus Calgar, Grey Knights, and other Terminator miniatures. (Yeah, Imperial Fists have a really challenging color scheme)

Siempre me han gustado los PuΓ±os Imperiales, pero tΓo... Β‘son amarillos! Β‘Y encima son expertos en combate urbano y guerra de asedio! Lo que aΓΊn los hace mΓ‘s ridΓculos cuando los metes en un tablero gris lleno de cascotes y ruinas... Anyway, Β‘excelente dibujo! Y es un consuelo ver que sabes dibujar marines sin pellejos de animales, hachas ni barbas XD

Hace ya unos aΓ±os que he estado dibujando marines de todo tipo, y algunos de los primeros que subΓ al Deviant fueron ultramarines y blood angels. Los lobos son mis favoritos y se tiene que notar. A mi tamopoco me gustan los coloers de los PuΓ±os Imperiales. Esto fuΓ© un encargo.

You know, while I was reading Firebase I came across your drawing and thought "hey this looks just like Nacho's drawing I looked at the other day". Then I looked closer and thought "hey even the signature looks the same". Only then did it actually hit me, and I realized I haven't been paying attention to the comment you wrote to this piece.

Anyway, I have been browsing through your gallery for some time now, and I saw you have other stuff you made for Firebase. However, since this one worked as a "revelation" to me, I will start commenting from here on.
I really like your style, both in the lines and in the coloring. It is an impressive combination of simple, almost sketchy I would dare to say, yet very effective.

On this case, IΒ΄ve just followed color scheme of original miniature. YouΒ΄ll can see it on next issue of firebase magazine. Personally, I think yellow and red donΒ΄t make a great contrast.

Yellow and Black/Gray however is one of my favorite combo in videogames xD
I never liked the "true" colors of the "Fists", may they be Imperial (yellow/red) or Crimson (purple/red).

Indeed! I've seen the Imp. Fists look absolutly horrid with thier colour scheme in some pieces but you pulled off a nice effect here.
