HEY GUYS! I just wanna take the time out to say something.
So drawing characters with the skin condition vitiligo has become a thing now, I like how it's bringing awareness and normalizing it...but what I don't like is how its now a fetish amongst some...if not most artist now. Here's the thing...it is a condition that causes the skin to loose it's melanin (what makes ppl skin brown) in blotches, thus the blotches are lighter/ appear lighter than the person's original skin tone. i say all that to say PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WHITE SKIN DOES NOT SUDDENLY MAKE DARKER BLOTCHES

I get a little aggravated because ppl draw this not realizing if the skin tone they are drawing is darker than a normal tan (aka dark skin) then the person they are drawing is originally dark skinned...and it seems ppl are afraid to draw features that comes with that. Such as wide noses, fuller lips etc. this character is cute...but is an example of how this disease is fetished...idk about y'all...but i'm sure this OC wasn't made to be a black person. (I just wanted to make put that out there)
