Pluto and Charon, I assume? New Horizons will fly by the system in July, 2015. I've done a few pieces of space art too - in earlier scattered drawings on my gallery, but this way of doing them is better.

Beyond our solar system, anything goes. I did a couple drawings each of Saturn & uranus, but the skies in my aqua women drawings are more interesting, I think.

If you look hard enough at the big one, you can see very minor details in the shadows. Depends on your monitor calibration. But I didn't burn it or use a soft brush.. just some selections filled with black and Gaussian blurred.

There are a quite a few good space art tutorials right here on deviantART, but I use my own techniques.
