Description
Those who are chosen to become gauntlets for the emperor undergo a sacred but intense progress of metamorphosis. This metamorphosis is more artificial compared to a Chromian priest transforming into the form of a cardinal, for the process of a Gauntlet involved the transfusion of some of the emperor's blood into their bloodstream.

Within a special structure located high within the royal palace, the one to transform is placed on a bed where a priest prepares for the operation and process. He plugs needles attached to tubes into the back of the one who shall transform, from there the correct amount of emperor's blood is injected into the chosen Chromians veins. With the blood injected the Chromian will undergo a special metamorphosis on the bed, immediately cocooning. Eventually, he shall emerge in a far more taller and powerful body.
