Following the glowing paw prints of Heliagr Heights, Hjorr and Freya exchanged snarky comments one after the other. They had been sparring each other for a while at this point, the last two Winter after the rebellion giving the Stonewarg not much reason to fight outside of that. Surely, it was just to keep their senses sharp, not that there was a drink after each session that the loser had to pay for. Totally. Freya had brought Eldjárn more than once to show him the ropes of proper combat while also keeping an eye on him. However, before they had set out, his uncle, Erik, had picked him up because he needed Eld for something. Whatever that was supposed to be. Freya didn't care.
It was supposed to be a calm hunt outside of Wargrun's walls quickly turned into a completely different direction. It wasn't clear who had noticed them first, but Hjorr and Freya saw how Runa and her son Örnir were cornered by a strange looking bear , the green colouring looking sickly and off-putting. A quick glance between the two was exchanged before Hjorr jumped into action, leaping at the bear with flames in her jaw. Freya followed quickly behind, bow and arrow ready to shoot the bear at the right moment.
No matter what, they were in control, a bear like that wouldn't stop them. Not now, not ever.
