Something I whipped up really quick in a few hours while I've never done anything like it before (I'm not kidding; I rushed the hell out of this). I never 'painted' a background. I decided to cheat a bit though; I still used the lineart from the sketch on very low opacity.

This was done Tuesday last week, the day before the HKU entry trials (which I passed). I'm aware of the fact that it's not perfect (far from it), but I thought it was a decent enough attempt to use.

The assignment was: Draw a room; a scene. It doesn't have to be exciting, but use your imagination. Think of it as an opening scene of a movie.

After several failed attempts, I ended up with this at the last moment...

Also, I noticed that it might look weird. It looks nice on my old Dell screen (and my Cintiq) but I just looked at it on my laptop and it looks, well... awful. The print ain't perfect either. But mehh, everything turned out okay.

All's well that ends well.
