More photo's from last night's sunset 02/04/2012Used Photoshop to remove a tiny spec just near the cats whiskers. I think it was a bird flying past in the far distance. I felt as though it ruined the focal point so I removed it and left everything else completely natural.

I love the name you came up with for this "Guardian of the sunset" I love it!

I really adore the colours and the black silhouette and how both mixes in warm sensational feelings however I don't like the black hump. There is a feeling that cat is looking far ahead (as for infinity) but the hump stops it in that spot for me.
However I still adore the feeling picture and colouring is making and absolutely adore cats so it is more then enough to be amazed ^__^

Thank you very much :3 I was considering on removing the bump in Photoshop but decided to leave the image stock standard. The bump is actually apart of the bird aviary that the cat was sitting on.

Of course if I took this picture I wouldn't want to remove it as well as I like pictures as natural as possible, I was making a comment from viewers not takers side but I absolutely understand your as well ^_^
Yes, mine too! When I look through my picture folders I start to think that I need to go out more as I have so many photos of my cat

Hahaha if you need to get out more than I most certainly need to as well. I am forever chasing my cats around to take photo's of them. Until they get annoyed with me :3 haha

Well... I am sure if you can take critique as a lesson not as a punishment then you will be all right and will take more and more great pictures
And I thought I am the only one who annoys cats for chasing and loving them too much
As I left my cat visiting my mothers cat, tomorrow I will go out and take some pictures of everything outside my apartment. Hope to be able to show in DA my results

I have learnt to take critique as a lesson rather than just saying nope forget it.. you don't like it im never taking photo's again.
(me on the other hand is a better critic than a photographer) < That is false haha. You are a great critique but you also have a very keen eye for photography so I would say they are about equal

Exactly , alot of people edit their work these days. I like to keep all my work natural but when something needs to be altered for the picture to look it's best I am not afraid to do it
