It is a beautiful piece that shows real depth to the character Varian from the show, Tangled: The Series. This images shows us parts of his old self and his current self. His usual atire shows us how Varian was at the beginning of the show. The bright colored shirt and the purple straps of his work apron contradict how he is really feeling accourding to his facial expression. His eyes are almost emotionless, as if he's trying his best to forget who he is and what he has done to his friends and family. The bags under his eyes remind us of how much time he spent on getting revanage on Corona and trying to save his father. His pale skin and flushed cheeks remind us he's not just any average wannabee villian, he's a fourteen year old teen who was suddenly cut off from the only family he has left. The simple piece of art shows a lot of emotion and the characters feelings, or therefore lack of, almost fly off the screen and makes the views feel his feelings. Overall, this piece of art is beautiful and very expressive without losing the character's current personality, while still showing us pieces of his true personality.
