Ooh...I really want to, now XD I have no idea how, and it probably won't be movie accurate, but...I'mma do it Yay! And then we can cosplay together and be Slytherin bffs XD

Thanks ^^ It was just, I figured I needed more practice drawing real life, non-stylized faces, so I pulled out a magazine for reference and tried to draw something, and it looked like I had never taken an art class at all and that really hurt >.>

I suck at realism too. When I had to do it in art class I felt like I just sucked completely. It looked liked I was a beginner... So I stuck with what I do best. lol

I doubt I could have it done by then, but I will try! >.> I actually have no idea how to go about making it...I'm thinking of getting a black dress and altering it like mad and attempting to make a fake-corset...any tips? XD You're much better at cosplaying then I am.

I want to get somewhat better at realism, just so I can have that under my belt (and so I can be taken seriously in art class XD ) I know I can be good at it, but...err. Side views. They kill me. And I said it to myself, because I'm always much too hard on myself. XD

I just recently found a good Bellatrix and that's what she did. She got the dress and made the designs using fabric paint. She bought the corset at a Renaissance Fair and the gloves from Hot Topic.

Ooh, she's good o.o I found a really good one on some other cosplay site last night...the good thing abut Bella is I think as long as it kind of resembles her, no one will really complain that's it's not accurate...yes, I will be buying whatever I can XD I don't care if I can't say I did it all

The one face thing we did in my drawing I class, it was a front view of ourself...which I think I did okay, but it was over 6 hours. And then If I was able to get into II the next semester, I probably would have more practice but, I'm only now able to take it >.> I hope I'm not out of practice at drawing realism...

Yeah, I think so too. Just go to Ross or Goodwill and add on to a black dress you find there. ^^ I add on to things a lot now.

I agree. lol Not everyone has to do it. Anime is a style of art, whether people like it or not. I can see why they get tired of redundant stuff (there are similar styles among people who trace or copy directly) but original ones are so cool.

I agree that anime is an art style, but there is a fine line between being influenced by X's style and copying X's style, which is my problem with a lot of people on dA. (Not you, I mean You have your own style of anime and you changed it a lot over the years) They don't bother to take what they know and turn it into their own...and so I can see why lots of art teachers would ban the style from their classrooms. I think it's a good idea to have studied realism a tiny bit, at least, even if the figures you're going to draw are intentionally disproportionate and all. I haven't actually drawn anything that I would call anime in two years...I want to break away from that in a way but still have my own style.

I have not done nudes yet u.u Drawing I was just starting from the very basics, exercises in contour and blind contour and dark space-light space (and by the way, whenever you do blind contours, I do hope that you don't have a painful experience like we did...where we had to stand away and aside from our board with our arms stretched out , not able to rest for 15+ minutes) using line and seeing things, then moving on to light, and measuring, and the last week we did our own face, and the last day, gesture drawings where we all posed and such. I hope to do it in Drawing II, and I know I'll do it in painting, whenever I'm able to take that.

But aside from having to relearn the basics all over again and having to go through what at the time seems mundane, college art classes are fun...though sometimes, I do miss Ms Poole's class, only because we could work and could do our own thing.

She loved me >.> It was creepy, how she always came up and whispered to me. (But she actually called me Bunny, so...) But she loved Shaun even more. In his freshman year he made this box with fire on it, and so she always. always, showed it, and talked about how he was a pyromaniac, and did the whispering thing even more to him. XD

But apparently, she, er, meowed to some students. Didn't get that.

Ohh, she just...urr. Whenever I was in there by myself ("there" being the back room), she ignored me. When I was dating Luke, she really ignored us, not even to check if we were doing anything we shouldn't have. But then, last year, if Shaun came in, she was always in there, and once, he like, had my wrist in his hand and she walked in (and I think Luke was there, too) and said something like, "you aren't doing some blood brothers thing, are you?!" XD
